The first portion of this collection includes a large number of playbills, heralds, and programs dating from 1835 to the early 1960s, although the majority of the collection dates from the 1850s to 1938. The next section is a collection of photographs, clippings and programs covering performers and performing groups. The final section is an oversized box which contains nine 33 1/3 rpm sound recordings of songs written for Vaudeville and Tin Pan Alley.
